The award-winning French type foundry typographies.fr has been created in 2008.
Since 2018, typographies.fr has supported important research for CLN3, a very rare and incurable disease that affects children:
Jonathan Fabreguettes (Perez)
is a type designer and braille expert, graduated from École Estienne and Paris 13 University.
He has created the type foundry typographies.fr, whose work has been exhibited in fourteen countries.
He has been awarded at the Letter.2 Competition of the Association Typographique Internationale and by the Type Directors Club of New York.
His work has been published by the Type Directors Club of New York and Tokyo, and is part of the collections of the French National Center for Visual Arts.
He is the author of the books Tacti'Jeux, for which he worked on the design of paper-based tactile games for blind children.
Laurent Bourcellier
is gratuated in graphic and type design and works as associate in a cooperative of activity and employment.
Thanks to his experiences and his network, he build up a diversified clientele in publishing, graphic and typographic fields.
In parallel to his activity, he teaches graphic and type design in two French universities.
Two of his typefaces received the Type Directors Club Certificate of Excellence in Type Design of New York (TDC), the Copte Scripte has been also awarded at the Letter.2 Competition of the Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI).
